Kase {Newborn} l Mobile, AL Newborn Photographer

I loved meeting Kamden, Kase, and their sweet mom! I actually did this shoot at their home in Atmore, AL. They live on some gorgeous land out there… which I was DYING to take advantage of! However it was a really cold and gloomy day, so we couldn’t bring new baby boy out to brave the elements. That’s ok though, I love these personal newborn shots that they ended up with. I prefer going to people’s homes when shooting newborns for a few reasons. The biggest are- 1) it’s easy on mom when she doesn’t have to load baby, siblings, and all of their clothing and props. 2) It keeps baby inside the house in those first few days when they don’t need to be carted around from place to place. 3) It makes the shoot so much more unique and personal when I can incorporate the family’s home into the photos!

McKenlee {First Birthday} l Mobile, AL Children’s Photographer

Hi friends!

I am embarrassingly behind on updating my website and facebook albums! Thanks to all of you who have stuck with me and left me so many sweet comments on the sneak peeks I’ve posted the last couple of months. I’m finally coming out of the fog of intense morning sickness, and now I’m going to make a attempt to get all caught up on sharing as many shoots as I can!

I had so much fun getting to know McKenlee and her Mom. We met up at Geri Moulton park in Mobile. I quickly fell in love with her pretty little grin! One of my favorite things about shooting in October was getting to see all the cute costumes that parents brought for the shoots! Is she not the cutest little owl ever?!

Fall is HERE! Mobile has enjoyed a nice little “cold front” the past few days, and I so enjoyed getting to wear my boots without getting funny looks. My nieces H+H also got into the spirit this week. Can’t wait to get pictures of them in their first Halloween costumes!

Waiting on Preston {Maternity} l Mobile, AL Photographer

Melissa and Dewayne met me in Grand Bay for their maternity session. They were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their sweet baby boy! Preston arrived this week, weighing in at an impressive 10 lb 2 oz. Congratulations Mom and Dad!

Kennadie + Shelton {siblings} l Mobile, AL Children’s Photographer

WARNING- This post is very picture heavy, and you won’t be able to look away! These cuties are my niece and nephew, Kennadie and Shelton. Their Mommy and Daddy took a trip to Mexico a few weeks ago (lucky!) and so Justin and I got to spend some time with these cuties! Audrey and I had been planning to shoot for a while, so I took advantage of the time we had and knocked it out. When I look at these photos, I can not believe how big these two have gotten. Where does time go?! I hope you have as much fun looking through these as I do! I especially love the ones of the “dance party” towards the end.

Harper + Hinleigh {4 Months} l Mobile, AL Children’s Photographer

I’m not sure how this has happened, but this is the first blog post about my sweet nieces on my website! These little bits were 4 months here, but have now hit the 5 month mark. They were so small when they were born, but have quickly started chunking up and bring some much happiness to our family. Their Aunt Bayleigh and Uncle Justin are just SMITTEN and love them to pieces!

Scott Family {Beach Photos} l Gulf Shores, AL Photographer

I loved meeting this family! The Scott’s vacationed in Gulf Shores, and I’m so happy they contacted me about shooting their family portraits. I would recommend all families to use those fun family trips as a chance to knock out their big family portrait sessions! The kids will be so thankful to have these pictures with their parents, grandparents, and cousins one day.

I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to share, so I kind of piggy backed off of what they chose as their favorites. How cute are these children?! I hope you enjoy this fun beach session!

Clark {Newborn} l Hurley, MS Photographer

My cousin Ashlie and her husband Andy recently welcomed into their family the cutest baby cowboy I ever did see! If I didn’t have baby fever BEFORE meeting Clark at the hospital, I certainly had it when I left! You may remember Ashlie and Andy from their engagement/wedding I shot a couple of years ago.

We even brought back that cowboy hat for a couple of shots with this new little guy!

Congratulations again, Ashlie and Andy! I love little Clark so much already!

These sweet kiddos belong to some of my cousins. I did the session in Vancleave, MS! I loved getting to catch up with them, and watch how they interact with each other. Jack {6 Months} l Mobile, AL Photographer

I hope all of you are having a fabulous week! I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the lack of rain the past few days.. knock on wood! Unfortunately, I haven’t been taking advantage of the great weather- I dedicated this week to wrapping up all of the editing I have left. We successfully wrapped up wedding season this past weekend, so I want to get all my brides the pictures they are patiently waiting on! I hope some of you have been able to soak up the sun with your little ones.

Without further ado, let’s get to the good stuff!

As soon as I saw baby Jack, I knew I was going to love photographing him. He was smiling so sweet and those blue eyes are to die for. How could you deny a baby anything when he looks up at you with those precious eyes? If he were mine, I’d be done for!

Jack’s Mommy introduced me to this location, and I love it! We already are planning to take him back there to shoot his one year session. It’s never too soon to start thinking about the next session, right?
